Holy Cow, it's been a long time!

Hi everyone! I'm two years old now! Can you believe it? I've gotten to be such a big girl. I can walk and talk and drive my parents crazy. I love it! I turned 2 a week and a half ago and my Mommy turned 30 yesterday. She's waaay old. I got lots of cool stuff for my birthday though. And my parents are taking me to Disney World. I'm going to meet Mickey!! I'm going to make Mommy write more stuff here, but she's been really busy this year. We moved to a new house and I really like it. I have my own room and everything. I even sleep there most of the time. I miss Grandma's house, but I go there everyday while Mommy's at work. I really miss my Papa, but I know he's watching over me and I kiss his picture every morning. I go to the doctor next week, so I'll know how big I am. Everyone tells me I'm really tall and that I look just like Mommy. She says that's why I'm so cute. Check back soon. I love you all!

Hello everyone! In honor of St. Patrick's Day, I am posting in green. I haven't posted since Christmas, so I have lots to tell you all. I've gotten so much bigger. Grandma says she needs a skateboard to cart me around. I can eat solid food now. YUM!! I love my food. Apples, peaches, sweet potatoes, squash and bananas. All delicious! I don't love carrots, but Mommy says I have to eat them, so I do. I can sit up all by myself now, too. It's really cool to be able to play with some toys that I couldn't when I had to lay down. I have way fun toys. Like my spinning treehouse. And my bagel stacker. I also have kitties. Kitties are the best. I love them soooo much. Milo kisses me sometimes, but Meg seems terrified of me and runs away. Loki, my big brother, kisses me all the time too. He makes my hair all wet. Mommy says he's gross, but I think he's funny. I am so happy here. I love my whole family. (But I love the kitties most!)

Today is Christmas and I love it! This was my very first christmas and I had so much fun with my mom and dad and grandma and grandpa and aunts and uncle. I got soo much stuff. I got toys and clothes and books and even jewelery. Grandma and Grandpa got me a gold bracelet. Mommy says I have to be very careful when I wear it. Mommy got a gold bracelet too, from Daddy. It's to put charms on. He got her one that says "Mom". Cause she's my mom. I got a highchair, too. Now I can sit at the table and eat dinner like a big girl. I love it! The trees look so pretty all lit up and all the presents looked pretty wrapped. I love wrapping paper. Mom says I'm like the cat. I have my new pajamas on and I'm ready to go to bed. It's been a big day for me! I love you!

Wow, have I been busy! I am 2 1/2 months old now! Mommy says she can't believe it. She says I'm really big too. I don't know how big I'm supposed to be, I think I'm perfect the way I am. Mom helped me write my first letter to Santa. She says he brings toys to all the good babies all over the world. I figure I have been good, I can't do anything by myself yet, so if I'm bad it's Mommy's fault. She has to work during the day now, so Grandma and Grandpa watch me. I love them sooo much. Sometimes I cry when I'm with Grandpa, but it's only cause I'm hungry and he picks bad times to hold me. I have met so many people in the last 11 weeks. My grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and some of Mom and Dad's friends. I even got baptized. I don't know what that is, but I got water poured on my head. That's one of my favorite things. I love baths and getting my hair washed. I have to go now. Burt Bird needs a good talking to. I will tell you all about my first Christmas next time. We'll see what Santa brings me! I love you all very much!

Charlotte Gray Ruisi!! I'm finally here!! I was born on Tuesday, September 20, 2005 at 10:04 p.m. I'm a big girl, I weighed 8 pounds 12 1/2 ounces and I was 21 inches long. I've been here for a week now and I think I like this. I got to meet my dad and my grandparents and my big brother. He's really funny, his tongue is bigger than my face and he kisses me a lot! My Aunt Hera loves me a lot too. She seems to think I'm her puppy. Mommy tries to explain, but she says Hera isn't very smart. I don't care, I like the kisses. I love to cuddle and Mommy and Daddy are happy to help me out. Grandma and Grandpa love me soo much. They cuddle me and talk to me and sing to me. Everyone has told Mommy and Daddy how pretty I am. Of course I'm pretty, I look just like Mommy! I gained 7 ounces already and grew 1/2 an inch in just a week. My doctor says I'm very happy and healthy. Yay me! I love everyone in my family so much. I'm so glad I'm here!

Well, today was supposed to be my birthday, but I'm still inside Mom. I'm not sure what we're waiting for. She keeps telling me to come out, but I can't figure out how. I'm not very smart yet, you know. Mom goes to the doctor this afternoon, so I'll probably get poked and prodded some more. I don't mind when my brother pokes at me, his nose is soft. I really hope I get to come out and meet all of you very soon. It's getting cramped and boring in here.

Wow did I have a busy day yesterday! My mom had a doctors appointment and was going to take Grandpa and me out to breakfast (yum!) after, but they told her she had to go to the hospital. I guess her blood pressure was high. I don't know what that means, but apparently it was my fault. hehehe, I like to make trouble. So we went to the hospital and they hooked Mom up to monitors and took some of her blood. I didn't like the monitors, they squished me. So I kicked at them. That made Mom laugh, which shook me up and made me move, and then they had to move the monitors again to find me. Dad keeps telling me to pack my bags and get ready to get out, but I don't know. I like it in here. I only have a few more days of cozy comfort, and I'm going to enjoy them! The hospital was nice though. Moms nurse brought her ginger ale and ice and anything she wanted, and Dad stayed right with her and talked to us. I love his voice. Next time I write, maybe I'll be able to tell you what I can see, cause I'll be born! I'll miss my cozy house though.

Moving day...one month from today

I have my first complaint to make today. My house is getting way too small. Dad says it's because I'm getting bigger, but I don't know. Just a few weeks ago I had room to play and swim and kick. Now I can't hardly move. I'm supposed to be packing my bags and getting ready to move out. I don't know if I want to move out, I like it here. Mom is all warm and cozy. She says she's going to miss me, too. At least when I'm born she can cuddle me, I think I'll like being cuddled. I am so excited to see everyone's faces and all the voices I keep hearing! Until then, I guess I'm stuck in here. I hope Mom grows a little bit more. I'll see you all very soon! I love you!

My First Party

I went to a party on Saturday with my mom and grandma. It was even for me! I got to meet some of my family and they all brought me presents. I'm going to like this, I think. I got lots of cute clothes and books and a bathtub and toys and blankets and a quilt. I love everything. I can't wait to get here so I can see everything and everyone. I have two more parties coming too. I love this! I think my mom is getting ready for me to be out too, she says she hurts and she yells at me sometimes if I hit her too hard. I just laugh, she's funny. I will let you all know what I get after my next party! I love you!

Hello everyone, it's Tuesday. I don't know how I know this, but Mom says I'm right. I got to go to the doctor yesterday. I like the doctor. They always compliment me and my mom and tell us how good we are doing. I hope it stays that way. I weigh about 2 or 2 1/2 pounds now. Mom hopes I'm about 6 pounds when I'm born. Mom and Dad got my room all ready for me this weekend. I think I will like it. My brother and sister like my stuff a lot. They are always getting yelled at to get away from it. Mom says my brother is going to poke me a lot. That's funny. He pokes me now sometimes and I just kick him back, so I think I can handle it! I have a party to go to on Saturday and it's all for me! Today I am officially three quarters cooked. That makes me about medium rare I think. Mom says I have to get to at least medium well before I can come out and see everyone. She says I'm cooking fast though. I got yelled at yesterday for kicking her too hard. I caught her in the ribs. I thought it was funny. Mom did not. My dad reads me stories at night, too. I love listening to him and I wiggle all over when he reads to me. Mom's doctor says I'm perfect so far...of course. I was asleep when we were at the doctor the last time, so I didn't get to kick the heatbeat monitor and make a loud noise. Oh well, next time. I'm going to go back to sleep and keep cooking cause it's getting cramped in here and I want out soon!

I haven't had too many thoughts lately. I spend all of my time growing now. And kicking my mom. Growing is really hard work, but my dad says I'm going a great job. Mom keeps saying I need to slow down so I stay small. I don't know how big I am, but I know my house is getting cramped. My mom and dad took me on my first vacation this weekend. I get to hear all Dad's friends and ride on a boat. It was sooo fun. I bounced all the time we were gone. Then we went to a casino. That is a very loud place. Lots of bells and whistles. Mom and Dad had a lot of fun and laughed the whole time. I love it when Mom laughs, she shakes my house and it's like a ride! I have lots more growing to do, and some kicking too, so I will write more when I have more thoughts. I love you!

This weekend my mom and dad moved. It was really tiring. They were busy all weekend long. I like my new house. This is where I'm going to live when I'm born. Mom showed me where my crib will be and her chair to feed me. Yum! I can't wait. My mom says I must be getting to be a big girl and really strong because I kick her really hard now. My grandma felt me too. Grandpa will soon. I like it in here. It's warm and cozy. Mom is going to work now, so I will have to write more later!

My first movie

Last night my mom and dad took me to my very first movie. We saw The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Mom laughed a lot so it must have been funny. I really liked all the popcorn she ate. YUM! I slept through most of it, except for the coming attractions. I liked the one for the new Star Wars movie. Dad was very excited that I kicked Mom through the whole trailer. Mom just groaned and told me that I don't always have to listen to my dad. They tell me that we are moving soon and that we have to clean and pack. I'm glad I'm not born yet, that doesn't sound like any fun.

I have a new fun toy I found today. My mom! I kicked her really hard this morning and she felt it. I made her laugh and laugh. Then my dad felt me kick her too. He was laughing too, but it's not as fun when he laughs. When Mom laughs it shakes my whole house and it's like a rollercoaster ride. Really fun! I'm more than half cooked now, whatever that means. I like it in here, I'm not ready to move out yet! I love you all!

Guess what??? I'm a girl! My mom and dad are sooo happy. They got to watch me bounce around and kick Mom. That's fun. Dad says I'll have to stop once I'm born. Oh well. Dad reads to me at night now. I love his voice. He has some weird ideas about what babies want to hear about though. That's what Mom says, when she isn't snoring through Dad's reading! They also gave me a name, though they still call me Baby Bunny most of the time. I'm supposed to answer to the name of Charlotte Gray Ruisi, but sometimes they call me Carly too. I'm too little for all this name stuff. I was just getting used to Baby Bunny. But Mom explained to me that I'm named after my grandmother and my great-grandmother and that they are really cool people, so I love my name. I also can't wait to learn how to use the chainsaw that my grandpa promised me. I've got so much to learn, it's a little overwhelming. I think I'll take a nap now. I love you!!!

It's been a while since I posted anything. It's hard to get Mom to sit for minute and type for me. She's been very busy the last week or so. It's a beautiful day outside I hear. My dad walked outside this morning, sniffed the air and said "NO JACKET!" He's weird. My grandpa has been in the hospital the last week, so Mom has been going up there almost every day. She says I'm going to be born there. I guess it's nice. Grandpa's nurses are really nice. He needs to come home soon so he can walk with me and Mom. Maybe we can get Grandma to go to. On Tuesday my mom and dad get to find out if I'm a boy or a girl. I hope they tell me too. It would be nice to know. I'll write more soon. Love you all!

Today is the day before Easter and I wanted to wish my family Happy Easter! Since my mom and dad call me Baby Bunny, I think I will like Easter. My big loud brother is here again. He's playing with Dad. I also got to meet my other big brother this week. Mom and Dad called him Moo. He was very sick but he cuddled me one night and I got to listen to him purr. I liked that sound, and would have loved him very much. Mom tells me I have a sister too. And there's another one like my loud brother and more purring friends. I don't know how I'm going to fit in the house. As long as they love me I'll cuddle with anyone. Mom and Dad were sad this week, but they seem better now. My loud brother, Doo, seems to make them laugh a lot. I'm glad he's here. I get all shooken up when Mom cries. Well, that's enough of sad. Next week I'll post about Mom's doctor appointment. My 15 week birthday

Today is my 15 week birthday. Last night Mom and Dad took me to celebrate by having half of Mom's blood removed. hehehe She was so brave and Dad said how proud he was of her. She's a big chicken. I don't know how she thinks I'm going to make it in the world, but I think she's going to be in for a BIG surprise! Dad made her dinner when we got home, bagel pizza and potato skins. Yummy! My dad is the best cook in the world. Mom and I are going bowling tonight, so I better go get rested up. I love you all!

It's been quite a busy week for me this week. My momma has been at working a lot this week. I don't think that I like this working 40 hours a week thing, and I let momma know that last night. Momma says there was a big court case in her work yesterday, but I don't really know much about that. My loud brother is here again. Momma says he was cuddling with my daddy, but I'm not even sure what a daddy is yet. I like cuddling though. I think I will like my big brother a lot.

Oh well, I better get back to doing the things I do. I'm very busy, you know.

Hi everybody. It's Saturday morning and Mom got up early this morning cause she and Grandma are going shopping again. I'm only 13 weeks old and already I see a pattern. I'm going to try and get them to buy something for Grandpa again this time. Last time it didn't work. Dad too. He deserves stuff, too. He bought Mom tulips last night and made her cry. She's a real wimp. Not much happens in my little swimming pool I call home. It'll be nice when I can get out there and stretch. See you all in a few short months!

Mom and Grandma are going shopping for me this morning. I hope they get me lots of good stuff. I'll put in a good word for my Grandpa too and maybe he'll get a surprise. My brother is still here. My Dad bought Japanese home for supper last night. It was really good. As soon as I'm big enough I'm going to take my Grandpa for sushi. I know he won't turn me down! My big brother spent the night here, too. He only poked at me once and I heard Mom tell him not to do that. He's going to be fun to play with. From what it seems, I think he's going to be a LOT bigger than me for a long time. I love you all very much.
